The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released the 2026 list of national excellent smart factories for public comment. A smart factory of Galanz's Zhongshan company made the list.

The high-cadence flexible manufacturing smart factory for microwave and household appliances is located in Zhongshan's Huangpu town. There, a microwave oven rolls off the line in under a second on average; with all lines running in sync, daily output reaches 150,000 units.
