According to Zhongshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in 2017, a total of 140,000m³ logs, worth $72.44 million, were imported through Zhongshan Port. The figures increased by 59.5% and 64.5% respectively over 2016. The varieties of imported logs include camphor, white wax and hedgehog rosewood, and etc. They were mainly from Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America and Oceania.
