The 23rd China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (GILF) kicked off Monday morning at the Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. In the intelligent household light fixtures exhibition area, which is established for the first time, AI conversation display used by many exhibitors has become a special attraction for merchants. The AI robot is smart to produce sentences like "Lighting system is turned to dining mode for you."

At Tmall Genie's show room, a guest was seen chatting with Alibaba AI lab's Tmall Genie robot. In addition to the voice control system, Tmall Genie also demonstrated its hotel room smart system that can control locks, curtains, air conditioners, and elevators.

Dark Energy from Shenzhen, an intelligent control system and drive provider, brought about two application solutions, the 2.4G remote control and the "Smart Home" App. According to a company representative, as most of its clients based in the lighting industry in Zhongshan, the company has already built a production base in Guzhen.

Besides Dark Energy, a number of intelligent lighting-oriented enterprises such as the Haijia Group, Fuguang Lighting, Aoto Electronics, Bright Power and VanHi Tech also exhibited in the special exhibition area.

The 23rd GILF will last until March 21. Statistics from the organizer show that nearly 80,000 people had signed up for the event. The number of registered overseas merchants rose 27% from the previous event.
