The 125th Canton Fair was opened on April 15 and will end on May 5, and it will be held in three phases. There are 143 enterprises in Zhongshan participating in the exhibition with 549 booths. Compared with the previous Canton Fairs, one fifth of the enterprises participated in the exhibition for the first time, and the manufacturing enterprises accounted for 71%, up 9% from the last Canton Fair. 

Xu Jiaxin, export market director of Guangdong YESHM Technology Co Ltd, said the company had three booths, 9 sqaure meters large, during this Canton Fair. They were mainly used for exhibiting the battery-free electronic scales. "Among all the expos, Canton Fair has the best exhibition effect. Our company's export volume increases every year with the help of Canton Fair, and we predict to have 20 new clients after this Canton Fair." Xu Jiaxin was full of confidence in transaction performance in this Canton Fair. 

Canton Fair is an important platform for the enterprises to explore the international market. It propels the fast development of export and import trade of Zhongshan. The city's total volume of foreign trade in 2018 was 230 billion yuan and the proportion of general trade was as high as 53.5%. Many enterprises in Zhongshan expand their brand influence and speed up their pace of technical innovation and globalization through Canton Fair.
