"Zhongshan enjoys several advantages thanks to its location and storage cost. We hope to be the first to try out and organize storage sites in Zhongshan as soon as possible," said the supply chain manager of Dolphin Cross-Border Tech (HongKong) Co Ltd. To this end, Dolphin Cross-Border Tech specifically registered a company in Zhongshan.
According to the Zhongshan Customs, bonded import of cross-border e-commerce online shopping is the main mode adopted by cross-border e-commerce import businesses. Under such a mode, goods are purchased centrally by overseas e-commerce enterprises and shipped in batches to the Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center. Once domestic consumers place orders online, the enterprises shall apply to the customs for tax declaration and goods release in batches, and then deliver the goods.
This mode can significantly reduce the purchase and logistics costs, and remarkably shorten the delivery time for consumers, thus offering them quality goods at lower prices, and a faster and more convenient shopping experience as well.
At present, Zhongshan is actively making preparations for the application of China's fourth batch of cross-border comprehensive e-commerce pilot zones, to create conditions for the stable development of cross-border e-commerce.
