The international trade situation has become complicated and serious due to the COVID-19 epidemic, but sales for Galanz in global markets are growing against the trend.

From January to May this year, Galanz microwave ovens achieved more than 30% growth in the markets of North America, Germany, Britain, Japan and other countries and regions, and their output value is expected to grow by 35% this year.

Galanz's Zhongshan Base, located in Huangpu Town, is an important research and development base for the company. The head of the workshop said that Galanz is capable of producing about 100,000 microwave ovens per day.

As the world's largest supplier of microwave ovens, Galanz sells 60% of its products to places abroad. "Foreign orders have increased by about 40% from last year," said Zou Jungang, vice director of the microwave oven production department in Galanz.

Many families need to preserve more food due to the epidemic, thus increasing the demand for refrigerators in the North American market. At present, orders have already been scheduled until the third quarter.

Currently, Galanz products have fully entered such mainstream retail stores in North America as Wal-Mart and Home Depot, and have took over the top five mainstream e-commerce platforms such as Amazon.
