In the first quarter of 2022, the total value of goods exported to countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" declared by Zhongshan Port Customs reached 7.77 billion yuan, up 36.8% year-on-year.

On April 18th, under the supervision of Zhongshan Port Customs, four containers loaded with 1,130 air conditioners produced by Zhongshan TCL Air Conditioner Co Ltd were cleared in Zhongshan Xiaolan Port and exported to Greece, Italy and other countries along the Belt and Road.

"Since the beginning of this year, our order amount to countries and regions along the Belt and Road has increased by nearly 25%. The customs have created an efficient and convenient clearance environment at ports, providing security in maintaining export orders and opening up overseas markets." Said Wu Chaojia, the customs supervisor of Zhongshan TCL Air Conditioner Co Ltd.
