A business delegation departed the Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce for Dubai on the morning of January 15 to participate in Light Middle East 2023 that will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 17 to 19. The delegation comprises representatives of 15 exhibiting enterprises and 11 others for business exchanges.

"Our direct purpose is to vie for orders, and our long-range goal is to step up export through brand globalization to enhance the influence of Zhongshan's products," said Lu Bo, office director of the Zhongshan E-commerce Promotion Association for International Trade.

As the largest lighting exhibition in the Middle East, Light Middle East will showcase the latest lighting products in the world, including those for urban construction, architecture and commercial use.

Statistics show that Zhongshan reported imports & exports of 3.23 billion yuan with the UAE from January to November 2022, including exports of 3.13 billion yuan and imports of 100 million yuan, up 35.13% and up 32.4% year on year respectively.
