"We are currently in contact with a major client in Southeast Asia, and if things go smoothly, we will be able to secure this client within the year," said He Ting, chairman of Zhongshan Balin Illumination Co. Based in Guzhen Town, the company specializes in outdoor solar lighting and has experienced a significant increase in the number of new clients this year, with export growth of over 30% from January to September.

Financial instruments, such as export credit insurance and export credit, have played a significant role in helping enterprises like Balin Illumination explore international markets and secure or expand foreign trade orders.

In the first three quarters, Guzhen's export volume totaled 6.108 billion yuan, up 44.9% from a year earlier, fastest among towns and districts in Zhongshan. This can not be separated from the support of foreign trade credit and export insurance.

Currently, a total of 11 banks in Guzhen Town offer foreign exchange services. By the end of September, there were more than 2,600 foreign currency accounts. The balance of foreign currency loans exceeded US$ 30 million, showing a year-on-year increase of over 700%.

From January to September, over 300 import and export enterprises in Guzhen purchased export credit insurance from three insurance companies. These three companies offered support to a total amount of insured exports of US$ 216 million, up 193.8% year-on-year.
