The Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce and the development department of Aguas Lindas, Brazil signed a memorandum of understanding on international trade express channel at Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort on May 29. The two sides aim to jointly promote the establishment of demonstration express channels for international trade and boost business exchanges between the two cities.

Zhongshan has established trade relations with over 230 countries and regions, and enterprises from more than 120 countries and regions have invested and operated in Zhongshan. In recent years, Zhongshan has continuously increased its business exchanges and cooperation with Brazil. The city's annual import and export value to Brazil averages 5 billion yuan in the past three years. From January to April this year, the total import and export value was nearly 2 billion yuan, up 78% year-on-year.
