Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce convened a marketing policy promotion meeting on January 3, offering analysis of policies, markets and resources in the Middle East for enterprises. Over 100 local enterprises took part in the meeting.

Located at the intersection of Asia, Europe and Africa, the Middle East not only has abundant oil and gas resources, but also a large consumer group with strong demand for household appliance, consumer electronics, and other technology products.

At the meeting, Zhongshan LED Lighting Industry Association introduced the market trends and opportunities in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern regions.

The 2034 FIFA World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia, with 15 special stadiums to be built or renovated, leading to a huge demand for infrastructure, building materials and lighting products.

On January 13, Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce will organize a business delegation to participate in economic and trade activities in the United Arab Emirates. Later in April, it will organize a business delegation to visit Saudi Arabia to help enterprises seize overseas market share.

The bureau will further improve the foreign trade development policy system, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with overseas economic and trade organizations and institutions, and focus on expanding the Middle East, ASEAN, Latin America, Africa and Russia markets.
