Loaded with Zhongshan-made home appliances, container ship Hanyang-981 departed from Huangpu Port in Zhongshan for Yantian Port in Shenzhen, marking the official launch of the combined port route between the two ports.

So far, all five foreign trade container terminals in Zhongshan have established interconnection with Shenzhen's Yantian and Shekou ports through the combined port mode.

In recent years, Zhongshan has accelerated the development of combined port infrastructure, opening a total of 10 Shenzhen-Zhongshan combined port routes.

From January to May this year, these routes handled 437 voyages, clearing over 23,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of export cargo. It helps increase logistics efficiency by 60% and reduce customs clearance costs by 20%.
