On January 14, at the workshop of Dacheng Frozen, a food company in Zhongshan, 12 automatic vacuum packers hummed at full tilt while workers deftly sealed fish fillets. 

Fresh batches of pickled cabbage and tomato fish fillets lay neatly stacked, ready for cold-chain distribution across China and to South Korea and other places.

In 2025, the company achieved a sales volume of 5,986 tonnes worth 247 million yuan, with 158 million yuan from domestic markets and the rest from exports spanning Europe, the US and Southeast Asia. 

As the Chinese New Year draw closer, orders continue to steadily rise.
