On the sidelines of the 140th Canton Fair, more than 50 international buyers came to Zhongshan on October 20 for a supply and purchase matchmaking event.

Zhongshan companies and the buyers held matchmaking talks on the city's signature products, such as coffee machines and induction cookers, working from lists matched up in advance.

Vasetskiy Vladimir, a buyer from Germany, was visiting Zhongshan for the first time. He said the dedicated matchmaking session made it easier to zero in on products of interest, and that he would go on to tour factories to verify manufacturers' production capacity on site.

That afternoon, the buyers visited the production sites of some Zhongshan home appliance companies, getting a firsthand look at their manufacturing capacity, supply chain strengths and smart manufacturing achievements.
