The four-day 35th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) opened at the Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on October 22, with more than 3,600 companies showcasing over 100,000 original new lighting products and lighting solutions.

Three projects were signed at the opening ceremony: Meituan's purpose-built unmanned logistics vehicles, the "Lighting Capital Going Global" cross-border e-commerce program, and the "Yue Home Appliances" Open Laboratory (Zhongshan).

By October 22, more than 50,000 buyers had registered for the fair under their real names, including purchasers from 126 countries and regions who made the trip to Guzhen for this lighting feast.

"When it comes to the lighting business, this is the best source market," said Francesca, a buyer from Italy. Guzhen's biggest strength, she said, is its "showroom in front, factory at the back" model: once buyers spot a design they like, they can visit the factory nearby to assess its production capacity and develop custom products on site — an advantage few other trade fairs can offer.

Milind Jadhav, a buyer from India attending the fair for the first time, was looking for integrated solar-AI lighting products to bring to rural markets back home. "I have long heard that the Guzhen lighting fair is a big name in the industry. I came here specially to see the most cutting-edge innovations," he said.
