The home appliance industry output value of Nantou town in Zhongshan exceeds 36bn yuan. On August 14, Nantou retained the “Guangdong Home Appliance Brands Innovation Base” title by passing the evaluationof GDEACC (Guangdong Electrical Appliances Chamber of Commerce) experts team.

The GDEACC expert team visited leading Nantou-based enterprises such as TCL and HOMA and took a field trip around town for the development situation of home appliance industry.

In recent years, Nantou puts great effort in innovation-driving development. Statistics show that in 2016 Nantou owns 419 patent applications and 288 valid inventions, ranking the 3rd in Zhongshan. Also in 2016, Nantou owns 39 high-tech enterprises, 4-times of 2014’s.
