On the morning of August 28th, The 3rd Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Industry Investment and Trade Symposium-West of the Pearl River (AEME) opened in Foshan, Guangdong Province. 

The exhibition in this year, which would last for 3 days, displays achievements in promotion of programs, cultivation of leading companies and intensive growth and agglomeration of the industry in the advanced equipment manufacturing industry since 2014 in 8 cities (Foshan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Yangjiang, Zhaoqing, Yunfu and Shaoguan) and 1 District (Shunde). 

The program-signing ceremony was held during the opening. Totally 288 programs were signed by companies from the 8 cities and 1 district with a total investment of 300 billion yuan. Companies from Zhongshan signed 62 programs with an investment of almost 100 billion, ranking second in the 9 regions. Among them were 4 programs over 10 billion, more than the others in the 8 cities and 1 district. Newly-signed programs over 10 billion included SIASUN Robot’s industrial headquarter project in southern China, BYD’s mobile intelligent terminal and rail transit project, Zhongwang’s pearl river delta aluminum alloy deep processing project.
