The first session of the first meeting of Zhongshan Optoelectronic Industry Association was held in Torch Zone on September 1. Gong Junqiang, chairman and general manager of Zhongshan Union Optech Co Ltd, was selected the director. 

At present, there are 43 members in the association. It will organize companies in Zhongshan that engage with production, sales and research of photonic products to promote development of optoelectronic industry (photonic display, illumination, solar photovoltaic, optical communication, optical storage, photoelectric components and etc) through combination of “industry - study - research”.
