In the first 9 months of the year, Zhongshan added 175 foreign direct investment projects, with a 73.27% growth, according to Zhongshan Industrial and Commercial Bureau. So far, the number of foreign-funded enterprises in Zhongshan exceeds 4,000 and reached 4,002.

In the third quarter of the year, Zhongshan added 93 foreign-funded enterprises, with $56mn of total registered capital.

Official from Zhongshan Industrial and Commercial Bureau believed that conveniences brought about by commercial system reform and preferential policies introduced by local government attracted foreign investors coming to Zhongshan.
