In the first three quarters of this year, the profit growths of medium-sized enterprises and small enterprises in Zhongshan reached 15.7% and 8.7% respectively, both of which are higher than that of large companies’ and the average rate.

In recent years, Zhongshan municipal government strengthens the supporting force to SMEs (small and medium enterprises) through financial assistance and policies. In recent three years, up to 1832 enterprises had upgraded to “above-scale enterprises”.

By the end of September 2017, appointed banks had issued a total of 5.414 billion yuan assistive loan to subsidize qualified above-scale enterprises. In 2015, a total of 19.717 million yuan fund was issued to 143 enterprises, while 26.925 million yuan was issued to 180 enterprises in 2016.

In 2016, a total of 218 million yuan special fund was issued to support 310 technological transformation projects, and a total of 150 million yuan was issued to support 495 equipment manufacturing industrial projects.
