Representatives of Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, held a business promotion conference in Zhongshan on December 9. It was the first time that the county came to attract investment in Pearl River Delta area. At the promotion conference, Qapqal representatives signed 5 cooperation agreements with Zhongshan-based associations and enterprises.

Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County is the "strategic fulcrum" of the core area of the Silk Road economic zone. It is also China's main land route to the Middle Eastern and European markets. It enjoys the tax exemption policy for national special economic zone. Qapqal’s advantaged industries include labor-intensive clothing production, toy processing, agricultural products deep-processing, tourism, and etc.
