The China General Certification VDE (Guangdong) Testing and Certification Co Ltd, one of the key projects signed at the opening ceremony of The 2018 Zhongshan Trade, Investment and Top Talent Fair, is expected to be operational in about three months’ time, Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce reports.

The company is a transnational joint venture project cooperated by German VDE Testing and Certification Institute, Beijing-based China General Certification Center and Zhongshan municipal government. It is also the first and the only joint venture company of German VDE institute settled in China. Home appliance companies in Zhongshan or even in the whole country will be allowed to the international VDE, GS, CB and CE testing and certification services provided by the lab. It can help urge Zhongshan’s high-quality economic development and industrial transformation and upgrade.
