The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area China (Zhongshan) Enterprises Development Forum cum Sino-African Big Health Industry Summit was held from May 19 to 20 in Torch Zone, Zhongshan. Former Prime Minister of Tanzania Mizengo Pinda gave an introduction of Tanzania’s abundant natural resources and cultural resources and investment opportunities to the participants.

Representatives of nearly a thousand Zhongshan enterprises and media such as China Central Television and Guangdong Television Station attended the meeting. 

Reportedly, the Tanzanian government encourages foreign investment on agricultural, educational, medical projects and construction of highways, railways, airports and hotels.

At present, most of foreign investment of Tanzania was from The United Kingdom, China and India.
