According to Zhongshan Industry and Commerce Bureau, as of the end of April 2018, Zhongshan has about 362 thousand registered market players, involving registered capital of about 559.534 billion yuan. The figures respectively increased 6.94% and 26.29% from a year earlier.

In January to April 2018, Zhongshan added a total of 22,686 market players, involving registered capital of 29,935 million yuan. Two figures increased 24.23% and 7.62% year-on-year respectively. Official of Zhongshan Industry and Commerce Bureau said Zhongshan had achieved remarkable results in commercial system reform in the past four years, with a net increase of 127 thousand market players.

In addition, as of the end of April 2018, a total of 224 thousand market players in Zhongshan received new version of business licenses.
