During the “Investment Promotion Conference for the Construction of Chinese Characteristic Town” held on June 13, Guzhen introduced the “Manufacturing Industry Revitalization” program, which aims to exploit land resources of old areas and upgrade land use of new districts. Total 20 high-quality plots of land were picked out for investment promotion.

At the conference, Guzhen Township Government signed contracts with Shenzhen MTC Co Ltd and Shenzhen Dark Energy Power Supply Co Ltd, and signed MOU with 8 companies including Zhongshan Sover Lighting Company and Guangdong LE LED Co Ltd. It is estimated that these 10 industrial projects will attract over 2bn yuan investment for Guzhen Town. In the next five years, these enterprises will increase 12.5bn yuan equivalent production capacity for local lighting industry.
