Villagers of Shenglong Village, Dongsheng Town have been raised income, owing to the crisped grass carp farming cooperative. 

“Our village is of weak economy but rich agricultural resources. In June of 2015, we established the crisped grass carp farming cooperative and set up standards for crisped grass carp farming in terms of cultivation technique, seed selection, pond treatment, fish disease control, quality control and etc. Since then, the fish quality is improved, which leads to increased sales and rent of pond and raised income of farmers. More and more villagers dedicate themselves to crisped grass carp farming now.” Said Lin Zhiqiang, secretary of CPC branch of Shenglong Village.

“Last year every villager in Shenglong Village receives more than 3,000 yuan dividend, an obvious increase comparing with 2016’s.” Lin Zhiqiang added. In the next stage, Shenglong Village will increase investment in sanitation work for building “clean homeland, clean water and clean countryside”.
