The China Urban Competitiveness of Service Industry Report for 2017 was released during The 8th China Annual Meeting for Trade in Services held on July 29-31 in Weihai city, Shandong province. Zhongshan ranked 33rd nationwide in “competitiveness of service industry”, up 23 places from a year earlier.

Reportedly, Zhongshan’s competitiveness index of service industry reached 58.1 in 2017, ranking 6th in Guangdong behind Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Foshan and Dongguan.
