Zhongshan has been steadily advancing provincial key projects since the beginning of the year and achieved remarkable results, according to Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau.

This year, Zhongshan proposed 42 provincial key projects, including 6 new ones, 34 continued and 2 about-to-reach-operation projects.

The total annual investment is 16.94bn yuan. In the first 8 months, the city has completed 14.54bn yuan investment, accounting for 85.8% of the total and ranking 4th province-wide.

As of August, 5 of the 6 new projects, including “Zhongshan Western Ring Highway”, had already started construction, which lays a solid foundation for the completion of key project investment.
