The 22nd Guzhen International Lighting Fair (GILF) and The 4th Guzhen Lighting Cultural Festival will both open on October 22. Zhongshan sprint star “The Asian Flying Man” Su Bingtian is expected to return home to participate in the lighting ceremony.

The coming GILF will be held at Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center as the main venue, and at Lihe Lighting Expo Center, Huayi Lighting Plaza, Star Alliance, Lighting Time Square, Besun Lighting Plaza, Huayu Square and Street Light City as parallel sessions. The overall exhibition area reaches 1.5 million sqm.

Nine theme sections will be set in the main venue mainly to attract investment from leading lighting manufacturers and introduce companies with design innovation ability and lighting engineering strength. Over 20 high-end activities and forums will be carried out during the event.

Statistics show that there are about 26 thousand lighting and accessories commercial and industrial enterprises and 8,960 lighting merchants in Guzhen, generating $370mn yuan worth lighting export volume per year. Their products are sold in more than 130 countries and regions including Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Europe and America, Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan and Russia.
