According to the “Employment Data Summary for November” recently released by Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the city created about 58,000 jobs by the end of November this year, with a 4.46% year-on-year growth. In November, the job demand ratio (job demand over number of job seekers) increased 10% to 2.38 from a month earlier.
A total of 35,658 jobs were needed in November, 1,467 more than that of October, while the number of job seekers dropped by 18 to 15,012 from a month earlier.
Specifically, wholesale and retail sales sector needed 5,660 employees, and hotels and catering services sector needed 3,563 employees.
Technicians were still in huge need last month. Statistics show that the demand of technicians was 14,165, while the supply was just 3,831. The gap between was up to 10,334.
Domestic enterprises lost most employees, accounting for 45.29% of the total lost jobs. Job losses mainly took place in manufacturing industry.
