Dong Meixu, Vice President of Global 500 company Amcor's Chinese headquarter, visited Zhongshan a few days ago along with her team. They conducted talks with Zhongshan authorities about their intention to increase investments in China and on the developmental situation of Zhongshan's production base.

It was reported that Amcor is expected to boost its investment in Zhongshan. The city's commercial department said that it would continue to provide quality services to local foreign-investment enterprises. It also invited Amcor to set up its R&D center in Zhongshan.

Amcor is the world's leading packaging company with more than 140 years of history. The Australia-based firm is now providing packaging solutions for 80% of pharmaceutical products, worldwide.
