Zhongshan plans to invest over 100 million yuan, including about 79 million of city-level financial funds this year in promoting employment and entrepreneurship, according to the Zhongshan Finance Bureau.

In addition to the provincial-level incentives and subsidies, the municipal authorities will provide 2 million yuan and 1 million yuan subsidies respectively to national and provincial human resource service industrial parks, and another 100,000 yuan and 50,000 yuan subsidies to the human resource service institutions which are entitled national and provincial "High-integrity Demonstration Unit".

The Municipal Finance Bureau has been actively implementing employment promotion policies and vigorously promoting employment and entrepreneurship of low-income labor. Each of medium, small and micro-sized enterprises that have recruited over 50 laborers of this kind and purchased social insurance for at least 12 of them in a year will be assessed as "Zhongshan Poverty Alleviation and Employment Promotion Demonstration Unit" and given a one-time reward of 150,000 yuan by the bureau.

The municipal government also expands the scope of subsidy. This year, it plans to invest 19.15 million yuan in supporting employment and entrepreneurship, as well as encouraging the development of family farms, agricultural product processing enterprises, and high-efficiency large-scale planting projects.
