Ever since the "Cost Reduction Action" of the Supply-Side Structural Reform took effect, the Zhongshan Government has relieved enterprises of financial burdens by 34.147 billion yuan in the past three years to "reduce cost and maximize profit". Specifically, the government relieved financial burdens on enterprises by 9.156 billion yuan, 12.418 billion yuan and 14.184 billion yuan respectively in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

It is reported that the municipal finance bureau put into force the cost-reduction policies through tax reduction, institutional transaction cost, labor cost, energy consumption and land use, and logistics cost of enterprises.

Besides, the bureau has also provided financial assistance to boost the morale of enterprises. In 2018, the local authorities assisted enterprises financially with approximately 3.236 billion yuan.
