The 5th Zhongshan Auto Show, which lasted for four days, concluded on May 4.

It was the largest auto expo with the most exhibitors in the first half of this year in Zhongshan, with more 200 car dealers displaying over 70 brands and 400 vehicles.

Luxury car brand Porsche for the first time participated in auto show in Zhongshan. Four models covering SUV, coupe and sports car of different classes were exhibited this time and drew the attention of many citizens. Other mainstream brands also presented their new models during the event.

New energy vehicles were getting popular. People were showing stronger intention to purchase new energy cars. They paid high attention to new cars even in the pre-sale phase, leading to an increased pre-sale volume, said some sales consultants of new energy vehicle.

The 5th Zhongshan Auto Show attracted a total of 80,000 visitors and sold 1,300 cars at a value of about 200 million yuan, according to the organizer Zhongshan Daily Group.
