The 1st China Condiment Capital Condiment Fair was held in Yangxi County, Yangjiang City of Guangdong Province on May 10, with leading enterprises such as Kraft Heinz, Chubang, Guang Wei Yuan and Jammy Chai attending the event.

It is reported that Kraft Heinz, one of the Fortune Global 500 company, established a factory in the Zhongshan (Torch) Yangxi Industrial Transfer Park (hereinafter referred to as "Yangxi Park") in December 2017, which is expected to go into operation in September this year. Kraft Heinz is also the first Fortune Global 500 to settle in Yangxi County since its establishment 30 years ago.

It is known that the new factory cost Kraft Heinz 2 billion yuan. It is able to produce up to 480,000 tons of Japanese soy sauce per year with full capacity.

In March 2005, Guangdong Province started identification and construction of industrial transfer park. The Yangxi Park was jointly developed and constructed by the Yangxi People's Government and Zhongshan Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It is one of the first three identified provincial industrial transfer parks.

A few years ago, Zhongshan-based company Chubang settled in Yangxi Park after preliminary preparations, marking the start of the green food-based industry development of the park.

In 2018, Yangxi Park became the first to be awarded the "China Condiment Capital" by the China Condiment Industrial Association. In the same year, the park also won the title of the "China Spice Valley". Presently, Yangxi park makes every effort to develop four industrial clusters respectively for condiment, food and beverage, essence and spice, and packaging sector.
