Recently, a delegation composed of about a hundred representatives of business associations in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao successively visited the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Nansha Area of Guangzhou, Tsuihang New District in Zhongshan, and the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Hengqin New Area of Zhuhai.

Many delegation members advised that Zhongshan should do its utmost to improve its supporting facilities and traditional industries to attract more investments in terms of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) construction.

Head of the Zhongshan Commercial Affairs Bureau announced in the Investment Environment Promotion Conference that the Zhongshan Port will be moved eastward. Once the new port is completed,  reaching Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport from Zhongshan will be less time-consuming. In addition, Zhongshan will have more convenient transportation means once the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge and the Shenzhen-Maoming Railway are completed. Indeed, Zhongshan will be included in the one-hour life circle of the GBA.
