The Zhongshan economic and trade delegation recently followed the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province to visit the United States and participated in a series of economic and trade discussions. During the visit, Zhongshan delegation took part in the China-California Business Forum and the China (Guangdong) -US Investment and Cooperation Conference. Moreover, the delegation had economic and trade discussions with local business associations, docking directly with high-tech projects in the Silicon Valley.

The delegation also participated in seminars on clean technology, advanced manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce, and innovative cooperation. The delegation had discussions with other enterprises about biomedicine, energy conservation and environmental protection and intelligent manufacturing, for the purpose of promoting cooperation among Zhongshan and  the US companies in areas such as investment, trade and technological innovation.

Besides, the delegation visited the San Francisco Bay Area Committee, AmCham China and other local influential chambers of commerce in a bid to expand Zhongshan's investment channels in the US.

Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce signed a strategic cooperation agreement with AmCham China over investment promotion. Meanwhile, the delegation also facilitated the signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between SynTouch and Zhongshan Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone Industry & Development Co Ltd, and the signing of the technical cooperation agreement between Rayvio and Guangdong Magusso Intelligent Technology Co Ltd.
