It was revealed by the Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau that the Zhongshan Catalogue of Priority Development Industries 2019 has been issued on July 1.

The catalogue stipulated that Zhongshan will prioritize 3 strategic emerging industries, namely new-generation information technology, health and medicine, and high-end equipment manufacturing, and 27 sub-industries.

Fosus will be put on such new-generation information technology areas as new-generation communication network, integrated circuit, new display, laser device, new material and device, Internet of Things, 4K TV network, industrial software, cloud computing, big data, blockchain and many others.

These health and medicine areas will be prioritized, including biopharmacy, chemical medicine, modern traditional Chinese medicine, medical apparatu and instrument, biological health product, gene test, characteristic intelligent health industries, public service support platform, and more.

The catalogue also represents such high-end equipment manufacturing areas as robot, artificial intelligence, high-grade CNC machine tool, intelligent logistics and warehouse equipment, intelligent manufacturing system integration, laser equipment, photovoltaic equipment, wind power equipment, solar energy equipment, imaging diagnostic equipment, treatment and rehabilitation equipment, pharmaceutical special equipment, advanced environmental protection equipment, high-efficiency energy-saving equipment, resource recycling equipment, high-end shipbuilding, marine engineering equipment, high-end consumer marine engineering equipment, new-type marine chemical resource exploitation equipment, high-end elevator and boarding bridge, tourism equipment, new energy vehicle and key component, machine tools, etc.
