The 5th Exposition for Investment and Trade of Advanced Equipment Manufacturing in West Bank of the Pearl River (AEME) will be held in Foshan's Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center between September 20 and 22.

A total of 25 Zhongshan companies will participate in the event with 56 robots, 5G communication and photoelectricity, new energy equipment, high-end medical equipment and intelligent equipment products to display Zhongshan's achievements in the fields of high-end equipment, new-generation information technology and health care, according to the Zhongshan Industry and Information Technology Bureau.

This year, contracts have been signed for 46 new hundred-million-level equipment manufacturing projects, with a total investment of 18.6 billion yuan. These projects involve intelligent manufacturing, new energy equipment, energy conservation and environmental protection, as well as airport equipment. Furthermore, a number of advanced equipment manufacturing projects have been included, such as airport equipment production bases, precision temperature control and energy conservation equipment, and Xinghe Intelligent Manufacturing.

Since the construction of the equipment manufacturing industrial belt in west bank of the Pearl River in 2014, Zhongshan has introduced 175 million-level equipment manufacturing projects.
