The 2019 Shenzhen-Zhongshan Modern Service Industry Seminar was recently held in Shenzhen, with more than 150 enterprises from the two cities participating.

Officials of the Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau introduced Zhongshan's investment environment at the seminar. In 2018, Zhongshan's regional GDP exceeded 360 billion yuan, a per capita GDP of over 111,000 yuan. There were about 370,000 market entities including 90 listed companies in Zhongshan, of which 98.3% are private economy entities and 61.8% are modern service entities. Zhongshan also has 38 national industrial bases and 18 provincial science and technology specialized towns, and it has developed trade relations with over 200 countries and regions across the world.

The Seminar focused on such key areas as headquarters economy, commercial trade, emerging finance, emerging information technology services, and etc.

At the Seminar, township governments, enterprises and associations of the two cities signed multiple cooperation agreements, including the "Zhongshan Menjoy Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park" project. The Zhongshan Modern Service Association also signed a cooperation agreement with the Shenzhen Association of Trade in Services.
