Zhongshan will promote the establishment of modern agricultural industrial parks, with a total investment of 100 million yuan for the construction of a crisped grass carp industrial park in Dongsheng Town and a flower industrial park in Henglan Town in two years.

In recent years, Zhongshan, focusing on the construction of the processing industrial chain of aquatic products, preserved meat, eggs and rice with local characteristics, has assisted enterprises engaged in agricultural product processing to adjust the structure, build brands, prevent risks, and expand the market.

According to the relevant person from the Zhongshan Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, guided by decisions and arrangements for promoting the rural revitalization strategy, Zhongshan vigorously promotes the establishment of modern agricultural industrial parks with emphasis on two superior agricultural industries: aquatic products (crisped grass carp) and flowers and trees. Thus, the Dongsheng Crisped Grass Carp Industrial Park and the Henglan Flower and Trees Industrial Park are planned.

To promote the innovative development of the agricultural product processing industries, Zhongshan sets up a special fund to support modern agricultural industrial parks. From 2020, Zhongshan plans to invest 50 million yuan in each of the two industrial parks, which will be built in two years, mainly for industrial convergence and scientific research platform construction.
