Construction on 8 key industrial projects in Tsuihang New District started on the morning of December 18. The projects are supported with a total investment of over 2.5 billion yuan, and they are projected to reach an annual output value of 5.4 billion yuan.

The eight projects under construction are GOLGEN, Xing Huang, CrownBio, ZiFiSense, Rarone, Singou Robotics, WIDE ETCO and Deqin Technology. The project investors are from Macao, Shenzhen, Beijing, and the United States.

A number of leading watch companies will form industrial clusters in Tsuihang New District. Chen Shengyong, general manager of GOLGEN, said that his company plans to build its headquarters in Zhongshan, and Xing Huang plans to build a watch science and technology industrial base in the Tsuihang New Distirct. Besides, Rarone has a plan to build a high precision science and technology industrial park, watch industry institute, intelligent science and technology development center, etc.

The construction of a number of intelligent equipment and biomedical projects have also begun. Beijing Idriverplus Technology Co Ltd plans to build an "Intelligent Network Innovation Base," which will rely on the national key laboratory at Tsinghua University. Relying on the research and development team of Macao University of Science and Technology, the Singou robot project will construct the industrialization of security, pension, and vehicle-mounted robots in Zhongshan. The first phase of this project is expected to be operational by the end of next year.

In addition, CrownBio (Zhongshan) will build a research and development center in Zhongshan. Its investor, Crown Bioscience International, is an innovative public service platform for international biomedicine. In addition, WIDE ETCO will build an efficient, energy-saving tube-in-sheet evaporator cooling air conditioning equipment industrialization base. Lastly, Deqin plans to build a medical equipment research and development and industrialization base.
