At present, cities across the country are on the move to resume work and production. Baidu's data on urban migration showed that from February 20 to 29, Zhongshan ranked in the top 10 of the national rankings in the category of "popular destinations for migrant workers", which could show that Zhongshan has resumed work quickly.

On February 29, Zhongshan ranked 9th among the "popular destinations for migrant workers" nationwide, after Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Chengdu, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai.

Another statistical report for the work resumption rate of cities within the top 100 GDP in China,  on February 25, the work resumption rate of Zhongshan-based enterprises above a designated size was 98.8%, ranking 21st among all cities.

On February 9, Zhongshan issued the "20 Measures for Stabilizing Enterprises and Business", which marked the point wherein the city began to vigorously promote the work and production resumption. Each town or district has also issued supporting policies according to its situation.
