The Information Office of the Zhongshan People's Government on March 2 held its 38th press conference on epidemic prevention and control. As of zero midnight on that day, there were 66 confirmed cases in Zhongshan city, with no new confirmed cases for 14 consecutive days.

At this special press conference on regarding work resumption and production, the heads of Mingyang Group, Zhongshan Factory of Guangdong Midea Environment Appliances MFG Co Ltd, Guangdong Sirui Optics Co Ltd and Zhongshan Bio-tech Co Ltd introduced the situation of the enterprises in dealing with the epidemic situation, taking measures to prevent the epidemic among employees, actively promoting the resumption of work and production, and ensuring the achievement of this year's goals.

It is reported that the work resumption rate of the "four categories of enterprises above the designated size" in Zhongshan city is 96.7%, of which more than 3,600 industrial enterprises above the designated size have resumed work, with a resumption rate of 99.7%. The resumption rate of service enterprises above the designated size is 94.7%. The resumption rate of wholesale and retail enterprises above the designated size is 97%. Enterprise headquarters, leading enterprises and enterprises with total assets of over 100 million yuan have all resumed work.
