Starting from the afternoon on March 4, Xiaolan Town sent masks in batches and for free to returning employees of more than 780 enterprises above designated size, in order to meet the basic protection needs of employees returning to their jobs.

On the morning of March 5, staff representatives of Guangdong Hengli Precision Spring Co Ltd came to the town government. According to a number of Hengli employees returning to work, Xiaolan Town gave 1,938 knitted masks and 19,380 filters to the company free of charge. These knitted masks are jointly developed and produced by several enterprises in Xiaolan Town and can be used many times by replacing their filters.

In order to strongly support enterprises to resume work and production, Xiaolan Town introduced a series of measures to stabilize enterprises and reduce rents, strengthening the guarantee of epidemic prevention supplies, assisting employees to return to their posts, and broadening recruitment for enterprises. In terms of epidemic prevention supplies, Xiaolan Town invested about 140,000 yuan to purchase the first batch of 210,000 masks and 2.1 million filters to support more than 780 enterprises above designated size to resume work and production.
