As of March 16, about 35,000 restaurants in Zhongshan city have resumed business and started serving guests, with the proportion of businesses resuming work and production exceeded 80%.

Since February 27, restaurants have started private room service. Following this, on March 9, restaurants in Zhongshan city have resumed their business in an orderly manner and offer limited dine-in service.

Recently, Zhongshan city launched 10 measures to support individual business owners to resume work and production. At the same time, the refined division of work accelerated the resumption of work and production in the food industry.

Wen Shaosong, acting president of the Zhongshan Private-owned Business Association, said that among the 250,000 local individual businesses, 44,642 were in the food industry. At present, the food industry in Zhongshan city is still facing operational pressure with high epidemic prevention costs. Under the guidance and support of the Zhongshan Municipal Committee of CPC, the Zhongshan Municipal Government and relevant departments, the food industry will gradually get out of the predicament.
