On the afternoon of May 12, Zhongshan People's Government and the Guangdong Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC GD) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.

According to the agreement, ICBC GD will provide no less than 350 billion yuan of financing support for key construction projects in Zhongshan City over the next five years so as to boost the development of transportation construction, economy, major platforms and parks, and people's livelihood.

In 2020, Zhongshan has approved 210 provincial and municipal key construction projects, with a planned investment of 44.6 billion yuan.

Over the past three years, ICBC Zhongshan Branch has invested more than 6 billion yuan in the city's urban infrastructure projects and has provided over 10 billion yuan of credit loans to Zhongshan's manufacturing enterprises and inclusive finance.
