On June 3, the Banfu Town government, together with Zhongnan High-tech Industrial Group, held the Shenzhen Investment Promotion Fair of Zhongshan Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industrial Park (IMEIP). The promotion fair attracted more than 100 entrepreneurs from Shenzhen and surrounding areas. A total of 11 high-tech enterprises formally signed contracts with Zhongnan High-tech Industrial Group to settle in IMEIP.

Shenzhen Changhong Technology Co Ltd is one of the 11 contracted enterprises. Zhao Guofu, the general manager, said that the company decided to invest 5 million yuan to build a production base in IMEIP of the Zhongnan High-tech Project. The company thought highly of the environmental advantages and development prospects of IMEIP and Zhongshan's low labor costs.

The total investment for the Zhongnan High-tech Zhongshan (Banfu) Park Project is 1 billion yuan. The first phase of the plan covers an area of 71,333 square meters, focusing on developing such leading industries as advanced equipment manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, and electronic information. The construction is planned to start in June this year. Upon completion, it will be home to more than 80 science and technology enterprises.

On the same day, Banfu Town unveiled the "Shenzhen Investment Promotion Center of Zhongshan Intelligent Equipment Park" and became the first township in the city to set up a permanent investment promotion organization in Shenzhen.
