The Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau recently issued a notice saying that it would extend the phased reduction of electricity costs for enterprises.

Besides users in high energy consuming industries, this electricity price reduction will benefit all power users (including users participating in electricity market transactions) who are currently charged at general industrial and commercial electricity price and large industrial electricity prices.

From July 1 to December 31, 2020, power grid enterprises will uniformly settle accounts at 95% of the original household electricity price level when calculating and collecting the electricity charges of the above-mentioned power users.

After calculation, the policy will reduce electricity costs of general and large industries and commerce in Zhongshan by about 470 million yuan in the second half of the year.
