The blueprint of developing Tsuihang New District into a new international, modern and innovative city center, the spectacular offshore construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, and the industry development advantages brought by the CAS Zhongshan Institute of Drug Innovation all left a deep impression on the visitors.

Chen Yiting, vice chairman of the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland, said that Tsuihang New District was thoughtfully planned, had complete supporting facilities and prominent elements of scientific and technological innovation, and that high-end industries would gather here in the future. "This will be a good place for Taiwan investment enterprises to pursue development."

"From my point of view, Zhongshan is a very ideal place for development, especially for 'high-grade, precision, advanced and urgently-needed' industries," said Liu Zhongxing, a council member of the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland, adding that Zhongshan had a unique geographical advantage in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In the future, after the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge opens, the "one-hour economic circle" will enable Zhongshan to develop better with the influence of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and other cities.
